  • Various locations across the Valley!

In the last calendar year, Trees Matter gave away over 4,900 free desert-adapted shade trees to folks all across the Valley! They have been planted, have begun producing shade, sequestering carbon, and so much more!

Now we have another goal: to find out how the trees are doing!

We need YOU to help us check out the trees in your city and to let us know how they're doing.

How it works:

  1. Sign up for a shift in February for a timeframe and city
  2. We will send you 4-6 addresses within the city to visit during your shift time. The homeowners are expecting you!
  3. Transport yourself from house to house, taking notes and pictures of the trees as you go. (We will provide virtual instruction on what to do!)
  4. Scan or mail your field notes back to us at the Trees Matter Office.
  5. Depending on the proximity of the homes during your shift, it may take slightly less or slightly more than the alloted shift time, but you'll be able to plan your route in advance.
  6. Take pride in your hard work!

Volunteers will choose one of the dates below to conduct the site visits:

Friday February 10th, Saturday February 11th, & Sunday February 12th

You can sign up for the date, timeframe, and city within the Valley that is most convenient for you!
