General Steps in the Public Sector:

Step One: Identify the local government that holds jurisdiction over the space of concern utilizing the Maricopa County's Assessor's Parcel Viewer from step one. Take advantage of the local governments' websites to find resources and contacts that may help you.

Step Two: Every local government in Maricopa county has a specialist or a department that deals with and can help assist in tree related issues.

Start by contacting the department relative to the location of your concern and addressing your concern with the department. Some good questions to ask include:

1. Are you able to help me with this concern?

2. Who else can I reach out to for more information on this topic?

3. What can I do to make sure my concerns are addressed?
