what is arizona gives day?
Arizona Gives Day is a state and nationwide, 24 hour, online giving campaign that helps people find, learn about, and contribute to causes they believe in. Arizona Gives Day provides Arizona based non-profits with a way to share their story and engage the community through a unique online giving platform.
why support valley permaculture alliance?
VPA relies exclusively on the support of sustaining members, donors and the local community for support. Everything VPA does is powered by volunteers and community members who share their surplus in the following ways:
- surplus knowledge (by teaching)
- surplus time (by volunteering)
- surplus harvest (by leaving extra fresh eggs on your neighbor’s doorstep
- surplus funds (by making a donation to the organization)
Any donation amount you are able to make to VPA for Arizona Gives Day will go toward the enhancement of our educational programs, operating costs and support of our continued work to develop community based solutions to important environmental issues.
