Arboles Importan… y son sabrosos!

Los árboles proveen varias funciones y beneficios.  El programa de Comida Urbana de el Bosque, está dedicado a demostrar la importancia de la función de el compromiso de la comunidad.  Para esto, nuestro programa les enseña a la comunidad las diferentes clases de árboles que se pueden cosechar, procesar y preparar diferentes tipos de comida.  Los eventos en cada serie son desarrollados en el programa para crear grupos dentro de las comunidades y así atender a reuniones con comida, con aperitivos y talleres educativos. Asistir a eventos de cosecha, o ayudar como voluntario, hace que el público en general aprenda y aparte recibe comida gratis que proveemos.  Estos eventos ocurren cada cuatro meses y las locaciones varían dentro de el Valle.

    Mesquite Pancake Breakfast for DINNER

    Join Us for Our Annual Fundraiser!

    Event begins at 6pm, and program speeches begin at 7pm from staff and board, plus announcement of our McPherson Award Winner! 

    PERA Club, 1 E. Continental Dr., Tempe AZ 85288

    This event is a fundraiser to support Trees Matter. Ticket sales go to support our mission to foster and inspire an increased, more balanced tree canopy in the Valley of the Sun! Come support Trees Matter and enjoy a delicious breakfast for dinner featuring mesquite flour pancakes! 

    Menu:

    Mesquite Pancakes: Plain, Blueberry, Orange Cranberry, Vegan

    (Gluten free options available on request)
    Breakfast Potatoes
    Fresh Seasonal Fruit
    Scrambled Eggs
    Applewood Bacon
    Coffee and Iced Tea

    Enjoy great company, good food, bid at our silent auction, and learn more about our work with trees and the food they provide right in our backyard!
