Community Event: Carbon Nation film screening

  • Mon, February 17, 2014
  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Arizona Science Center
VPA is pleased to share this free event of interest to the VPA community that is being presented by ASU's  The Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives.

Carbon Nation is a documentary about climate change solutions, including alternative energy methods. Whatever your thoughts on climate change, you will be intrigued by this look at how proposed solutions to this issue also address other social, economic and national security issues, including a desire for self-sufficiency and the permaculture principle of closed systems. You’ll meet a host of entertaining and endearing characters along the way. Join the film’s director, ASU Professor of Practice Peter Byck, for this screening and discussion of the film.

This screening is part of a week long Sustainability Solutions Festival. VPA will be present at some of the events. Please stop by our table and say hello.
