about the class:

Learn how to prepare simple, beautiful, healthy dishes with local, in-season Arizona produce. Learn how easy it is to use fresh local produce from your garden, a community garden or local Arizona farmers to create beautiful, delicious, healthy food. We will prepare a few simple veggie dishes with what’s in season.  

You will learn:

  • Nutrition basics with whole foods and an anti-inflammatory way of eating
  • How to cook intuitively with what’s in your kitchen and garden
  • Simple cooking techniques to easily integrate into life

about the instructor

Workshop is led by Melanie Albert, author, speaker, Founder & CEO of Experience Nutrition Group, LLC, in Phoenix, Arizona. Melanie has been active in the integrative medicine and nutrition fields for 15 years. Melanie is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, 2007 graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Since 2014 she has been an instructor at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, where she teaches Whole Food Cooking and Conscious Eating. In January 2015, Melanie completed the Rouxbe Online Cooking School Professional Plant-based Certification.
