Community Event: Arbor Day Community Tree Planting

On Friday, April 24, National Arbor Day, NFL has provided seven trees and one tree will be planted with special speakers in South Phoenix to celebrate Arbor Day and the needed shade at a local Little League baseball field. The baseball field, located at 6218 South 7^th Street, is on property owned by the Roosevelt Elementary School District. Representatives from the NFL, the school district, South Mountain Little League, TigerMountain Foundation and Valley Permaculture Alliance, developer of the project, will be on hand for the ceremonial tree planting beginning at 8am.
